Aisha Jamila Hinds is one of the popular American actor. Her fame is due to the roles she played in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has demonstrated her range in acting providing outstanding performances on television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance on Assault on Precinct 13 was her debut big breakthrough. It was however her performance as feminist activists Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actress. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 will be renewed for another season.
